Partenza per un paio di giorni e nell'ordine:
- andata #italotreno cancellato a 15 minuti dalla partenza, riprogrammati 2 ore dopo con stravolgimento di tutti i piani e nessun rimborso parziale, perché il viaggio lo hanno fatto
- ritorno #trenitalia con immediato ritardo di 40 minuti per controlli alla linea
- masterpiece (finale?) saltata fermata di Firenze SMN causa problemi in stazione, ritardo sale a 70 minuti
Il viaggio non è ancora finito. Ma ci serve il #pontesullostretto , giusto?

2025, I can get a good enough internet connection on a plane in the middle of the Atlantic or on a ship in the middle of the mediterranean sea, but it seems that I still can't get a decent connection on a train in one of the most populated areas of #italy

Let's talk about #catering! We know bar and restaurant cars aren't the most efficient in terms of yield per passenger, so not really a surprise to see a private operator going for space and staff saving vending machines. I'm not really impressed by the selection, but I like the retro vibe of the coffees on display. You can pay by card, but not contactless. With the train built in 2018 looks like they narrowly missed out on that.

@makakken Vielleicht. Schau mal unter #Chiassotrick (auch drüben bei χῖtter, z. B. https://nitter.net/search?f=tweets&q=from%3Adieg0+%23chiassotrick&since=&until=&near=) und beim @Lenny_du_Nord. Der Trick ist, das Ticket an bestimmten Grenzbahnhöfen zu splitten und die Streckenabschnitte bei #DB und #Trenitalia / #ItaloTreno getrennt zu kaufen.

From #Milan 🇮🇹 to #Venice on board a very nice #Alstom #ItaloTreno #NTV ETR.675 #EVO trainset. There isn’t a proper @diningcar in the consist but vending machines (of the “cash only, no cards” - type though 😳 ) cater for the needs of the traveller - ☕️☕️☕️ in this case.
