Today's #Caucasity: #StoryTime
A house in my neighborhood has been completely renovated & is selling for $1M. This area when I was growing up was mostly middle & lower-middle class retirees (my bro & I were literally the only kids & my family the only non-whites in the whole planned community... You can guess which one has changed and which one hasn't changed much in the three decades. 😅) so having one of these old, smallish townhouses go for a million?! I wanted to see the renovations!
So when there was an Open House, I walked over. The real estate lady was puttering outside, no one was viewing at that time, and I wasn't quietly walking or anything.
When I was maybe a dozen feet away, I realized she hadn't seen me so I said cheerfully, "Good afternoon!"
She jumped & then says to me laughingly, "You walk like an Indian!"
