Someone made a zine about attending the conference I'm at and now I want to make a zine about what I packed for con. I like zines because there is a very low barrier to entry.

Intercon W is this weekend and I'm wicked excited to see all my larping friends again. I've not been since 2019 because pandemic, so it's been a while.

Partner and I have the #interconlarp convention coming up in 3 weeks, so we were at the local thrift store for costuming. Someone came up to us and complimented us on our taste, saying that to everything we'd pulled fit their aesthetic. It felt a bit odd to be complimented on our characters' style, but I'll take it 😅 #larp #intercon

I'm asking #larp designers to please just… not.

Out of the games that do this I think maybe two have a legitimate reason to do so, and one of those is a gender reveal party where you burn down a forest at the end (and it is clear that you may not align with the individual you are playing, who is the sort to have a gender reveal party that might end up burning down a forest).
