Dieser Südliche Blaupfeil war einer der ersten seiner Art, den ich hier in meiner Gegend fand - an einem neuen Teich auf einer Lichtung. Glücklich, wie ich war ihn zu finden, bemerkte ich nicht den Binsenhalm, der von links in Bild ragte.

So, I have a friend who is knowledgeable about all forest things, who advised me a few years back about the spotted lantern fly, an invasive species crawling up the USA East Coast decimating forests. Yesterday, I was stung multiple times on the face by wasps after accidentally disturbing a nest in a wooded area. It's not the first time I've been stung by anything - I grew up in Australia.
