I can not believe this garbage... I gave in and ordered myself some nice in-ear monitors with a 3.5mm jack, and a USB-C dongle. They arrived today and I gave them a try.
As it turns out: I will not be able to use these. My phone (or all Samsung phones?) has a bug. If you plug in a USB-C dongle with 3.5mm headphones that do **not** have a microphone, the Gemini thingy starts up and waits for input.
I searched for the problem online and found it in multiple forums. There's nothing I can do about it.
I tried the same dongle with two other pairs of headphones; one with microphone, one without, and the other ones without the microphone cause the same problem. With microphone, there is no issue.
