Тем не менее, в той сети работал только мобильный интернет, тогда как при попытке позвонить или отправить SMS связь немедленно обрывалась. Самое время восполнить это упущение. Сегодня мы поднимем сеть, в которой будут работать все эти функции. Заодно разберёмся, как работают звонки в LTE-сетях, как запустить такую сеть при помощи SDR и как заставить это всё работать. TIL: The entire 12th Gen iPhone Generation (Xr / Xs) cannot send SMS if SMS via IMS fails.

As we don't have connectivity yet between our IMS Core and SMSC, we block sending SMS via IMS with SIP error 405 for now. All other devices that we know of will fall back to SMS via SGs in that case. Even obscure devices like the Nokia 225 4G do that.

I did know that about the Xs beforehand but the Xr was news to me. Some phones are weird ponies 🦄.
