I can totally get and understand #AaronBushnell setting himself on fire in front of the #Jewish #Embassy in #WashingtonDC since as an active duty airman in the US Armed Forces he couldn't stomach being complicit in #Israel's #genocide, and while his sacrifice was heroic (if not tragic), I completely understand why he did what he did.
May he rest in peace.
What I do not get is why some crazy guy in #NewYork today just outside the courthouse where #DonaldTrump is on trial #immolated himself.
For what?
No word if he's still alive but let me tell you, I just finished watching the video and let's just say that police in DC put out the fire Airman Bushnell started on himself MUCH FASTER than the Police and #SecretService that came running to help this guy.
Dude honestly looked homeless or at the very least very unkempt. And that was before he doused his head and body in gasoline and lit the lighter.
Not sure if he was saying anything because I'm listening to music on the headphones and honestly I don't think I can stomach listening to someone crying out right now.
Fuck.
Donald Trump is not worth it. Nothing that man does is worth it.
That's three people that have self-immolated themselves in the past six months. (Atlanta, DC, and now New York).
