Anyone out there use bubblewrap to sandbox mediainfo/ffmpeg/imagemagick (for content identification and thumbnail generation)?
It looks like they only use ~30 common syscalls between them and a very restricted seccomp-bpf filter, no ipc/network access, and minimal fs access (ro bins/libs, hopefully next-to-no dev/proc/sys) should be doable.

Hacking on web frontend goop for a little project to organize media files. Sort of a cross between a personal image board and photo gallery. Finally wired up some fancier upload UX. This clip from before I added drag-and-drop support and removing items from the upload list as uploads complete.
(The upload list items light up as they're processed, green = success, yellow = duplicate, red = error).

Web app hackery continues. This thing is starting to be somewhat useful (for organizing piles of random images I've saved). Having fun writing vanilla html/css/js with no frameworks, middleware, build systems, etc, etc. The "UI" is slowly getting less hideous too, as a bonus.
Supporting two-dimensional grid keyboard navigation with both wasd and hjkl probably says something about me.

Little web app project is making progress. Backend can accept uploads, identify formats, extract metadata, generate thumbnails, etc. Frontend doing some display, filtering, selection, view-full-size-in-a-lightbox etc.
Vanilla js/html/css, no middleware, node with no packages, though using mediainfo/ffmpeg/imagemagick for the media processing.

Manches kommt immer wieder. Phishing zum Beispiel. Diese Mail hatte ich in den letzten Tagen öfter. Sie ist HTML-formatiert und hat ein aufwändiges Design, um die Zielgruppe besser zu verblenden. Urheber ist sicherlich die gleiche Bande, die mit dem Wiedergänger aus der Höhle der Löwen und mit diversen Umfragespams auftritt.
