Our stops and eats:
1. Crab rolls and kor moo yang (bbq pork jowl from Lapats
2. Crispy chicken bones (more like bone-in fried chicken bits) and yum pla dook fu (sweet spicy sour catfish and shallots salad) at Sai Jai Thai
3. Salted egg yolk croissants and coffee at Sweet Glory
If you do even a few of these, you get a good sense of the Thai food scene in the Tenderloin!

My fave SF banh mi and congee spot. As far as I know they only sell 3 things: banh mi (with ham, pate and a fried egg), Vietnamese congee (with pork innards, traditionally, but you ask for no meat), and a rice cake noodle soup. No menu (or menu is tiny / hidden). Very little English. It’s more like a community room for Vietnamese seniors above 40.
