    Ein „If you’re depressed, help is available“ am Ende einer Todesmeldung ohne Todesursache ist ein schlechtes Zeichen. Kurz darauf war dann klar, es war wirklich ein Suizid.

    Der Tod von Jeff Baena fühlt sich nach mehr an als „nur“ einer persönlichen Tragödie. Das ist furchtbar für alle, die ihm nahe standen, und ja, wir alle lieben Aubrey Plaza.

    Aber dieser Tod ist auch symptomatisch dafür, wie das Indie-Kino, das Hits wie #IHeartHuckabees hervorgebracht hat, ausstirbt.

    Und ich bin ehrlich gespannt, wie der dann auf dich wirkt. Er entzieht sich nämlich in weiten Teilen klassischer Rezeption. #IHeartHuckabees

    Strict Seventh Day Adventists do not eat meat. Most of them live in Loma Linda, California. There is an eponymously named company that has been making mock meats since the 1950s, at least.

    I have a Seventh Day Adventist store near me. In addition to many Christian products they also sell vegan cookbooks, Loma Linda mock meats, a huge variety of TVP, mock meats from Taiwan, and American made mock meats from other companies.

    I went there this weekend and bought myself a can of "Tuno". I stumbled across it remembering this scene from the movie "I Heart Huckabees", but misremembering Shania Twain's line as "I only eat Tuno!"

    In a comedy about nihilists called "I Heart Huckabees" Shania Twain makes a cameo appearance to tell the lead asshole

    "I only eat tofu tuna Brad!".

    I always thought she said "Tuno".

    Tuno is a Loma Linda (Seventh Day Adventist company, making mock meats since the 1950s ) a product made out of TVP.

    I stumbled across Tuno this weekend and bought a can. Picture in the comments.
