My IBM 5155 portable suffered water damage in storage - the rest is clean, but the keyboard must have been sitting in water.
I’m trying to clean these springs and paddles and plastic bits, but a bunch will just need to be replaced. I’ve found a place that has ‘em for a buck a piece, but hoping I can salvage most.
This first pic shows the ones I attempted to clean. There’s still discoloration, and I’m wondering if they’re OK, or if they’ll continue to deteriorate after I reassemble the keyboard?
