When I said HXX is making the play to claim being irl!Zayne, I didn't expect Jiang Chen to come thru WITH THE PERIOD TRACKER FEATURE ENABLED

So far, three eps in for All Rise, my guess is that this would've been a purely female-led workplace drama but there's some kind of production billing credit going on to get this greenlit and HXX was just at the right tier that this is a get. Anyway, I was born in the 1980s and I love Working Girl and Harrison Ford, so this is very enjoyable so far. Zhou Yiran's blazer with the raw edges is honestly a serve.

Telephone games' humour depends very much on how terrible the relay is and this acting challenge version is especially hilarious because it hit the jobbing actors in the cast (versus the "personality hires" kind of celebs) right in their feels. I only screenshotted the Hu Xianxu turn (when he starts the chain) but the Bai Jingting and Wang Anyu ones are also fucking funny.

I skipped ahead to the next season and apparently under the guise of having past season reunions, the mainstay members of the season are combos of the fifth season cast + other seasons'. ANYWAY: this is the season in Southeast Asia, which doesn't help my personal agenda that hxx will not look out of place amongst my people.
