I have some Hoosier Social data for this! When we were fighting storage costs, I tracked stats closely.
In 2024, we had 45 weekly active users and averaged 7428 "interactions" per week (posts, likes, boosts, bookmarks, replies).
In 2025, those numbers were 57 average users/week and 8519 interactions/week.
I stopped keeping records after the hosting switch, but here is what the dashboard currently reports.

🗣️ If the City won't do the easy things how can we ever expect them to do the hard things? Lets be honest, Vision Zero in a City like Indianapolis *is* going to be hard. But there are so many easy wins the City could take yet they simply refuse.

On August 31st, two bicyclists were struck in two separate incidents hours apart.
The first was pronounced dead at the scene, the second transported to a nearby hospital seriously injured.
Tonight we learned the second cyclist died from their injuries.

“Mass and College. Where Brandon Breedlove was struck and killed. Where neighbors and business owners have constantly demanded action for safer streets. Where we held a protest to draw attention to safety last year.

JUST NOW: Two pedestrians struck at College/Mass by the driver of an F150 truck. Does not sound serious.
This is the same intersection where Brandon Breedlove was killed in March 2024.
Mass Ave should be walkable. Big trucks don’t belong in our cities.

Two women have filed lawsuits alleging a southside Indianapolis intersection is ‘hazardous and dangerous’.
“According to data from Safe Streets Indy, 13 pedestrians and cyclists have been hit at this intersection since November 2022. Three of those incidents were fatal.”

Also of particular concern for this Admin of a social media platform is HB 1408. It includes a lot of language about age restriction requirements, identify validation, and parental consent. My interpretation is that it doesn't apply to #HoosierSocial based on some of the criteria like the Daily Active User base. But, troubling none the less.

Indianapolis is reconstructing the 16th Street bridge. Unfortunately, the design doesn't make pedestrian and bicyclist safety a priority. We shared some thoughts about these developments at the link below.
