Here’s your moment of zen: the coastline of Big Island below my house (which is way up at 1500’), on the Hāmākua coast, called Honoka’a landing. Just imagine bags of sugar being hoisted onto a sea cable and put onto ships (how in the hell did they anchor here) 130 years ago. Also cows swimming out to cargo ships for processing. #hawaii #sakadas #Honokaa
