A friendly reminder that the holidays aren't necessarily a happy time for everyone. And that that is ok. Simple things can make it easier for everyone:
- if someone does not want alcohol, respecting their choice
- not commenting on how much / little someone eats
- using people's preferred pronouns is a great way to show you care
- it's ok to take a break or leave if you don't feel well / are exhausted / any other reason
