We are sexually active with an occasional 3rd. We take health and prevention seriously. We both take DESCOVY for PREP. Yesterday, I received my 90 day supply from BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy via UPS. It arrived at 5:00pm and had been on the truck all day. The package, the cooling gel pack, and the pill bottles were all hot to touch. Gilead, the manufacturer states that it should be stored at about 77F, but that excursions up to 86F are allowed. Those pills had to be 115F, which is 20 degrees outside that window. No one at Gilead or BioPlus will tell me if they are safe and effective now. Are there any medical professionals here with HIV prevention creds that can help answer this question. Should I trust these pills?
