My favorite hidden track is probably the "pregap" song on the original version of Maxwell's Embrya album.
You had to start the first song and then hold rewind on the CD player to get to the beginning of the hidden tune, "Gestation: Mythos"
(I lost that cd, I think, in an unfortunate flood!)

Just finished listening to Daniel Caesar's new "Son of Spergy" album -- which was really good! -- and was quite pleased to have a bit of a fakeout ending on the last track.
It reminded me of "hidden tracks" on CDs. Silence long enough that I legit thought the album was done, and was just starting to think about putting on something else.
Anyhow, here's "Baby Blue" from the album, which is not the closer, but is probably my favorite from the album. Very Frank Ocean floating in a pure space:

Was just talking with #friends tonight about the #90s band #Cracker, and how they really had something going. My favorite bits about the #1993AD #album "Kerosene Hat" was the #HiddenTracks at 15 ("High-Desert Biker Meth Lab"), 69 ("Euro-Trash Girl"), 88 ("I Ride My Bike"), and 99 ("Kerosene Hat (demo)"). It was one of those golden moments where #music #artists played with the #CD format to its #quirkiest extents. It's the little things we miss with #streaming.
