  1. #PennedPossibilities 128 — How much research did you need to do for your book?

[re: #DancingwiththeLion ] ... I kinda went and got a PhD in the topic, so I might have a problem with knowing when to stop? LOL

But it did allow me to make the world of ancient Macedonia and Greece real for readers and embed them in the culture.

I'm cheating a bit. This isn't time travel, but I, as author + professional historian, will take *you* into the past. :-)

My planned time-travel involves #Antinoos (beloved of the Emperor #Hadrian), yet I already have a duology about #Alexanderthegreat and #Hephaistion. It's currently ON SALE for Pride at Riptide Publishers, $1.99 each. Meet Alexander before he became "the Great."

Time is ticking! Sale ends tomorrow (6/20).

  3. Been thinking about trying DANCING WITH THE LION but haven't yet because cost was an issue? BOTH halves are on sale at Riptide this month for just $1.99 each.

Meet Alexander before he became "the Great."

This special price is *only* available at Riptide, as part of Pride. Not available via other distributors such as Amazon.

  4. As Pride month opens, read a duology unafraid to front-and-center one of antiquity's most famous friendships. Make homophobe heads explode. #AlexandertheGreat loved a man (#Hephaistion) more than his wives (whether or not he was still sleeping with him). Love is love. The story of the young Alexander before he became "the Great."

  5. Someone boosted my Dionysos statues. Thanks.

Today, I bring mosaics from Pella, capital of Macedon & birthplace of Alexander the Great. The color palette is specific (same as Aegae's)--no blues. One big reason I think the Kasta Tomb (claimed to be Hephaistion's cenotaph) does NOT belong to the 4th c., but the mid-3rd or later. A possible reference to a Hephaistion in the tomb is the CREATOR, not occupant. Just as Gnosis signed the 3rd mosaic below (stag hunt). #Hephaistion
