Before my summer 2022 COVID, my heart and liver were reasonably functional. After that COVID bout, I had to take calcium channel blockers (and I take only half the prescribed amount) for persistent palpitations. That drug is #hepatotoxic, and I now have the unpleasant symptoms of declining liver function. #COVID will find a way to kill, even if it's by an indirect route.

@holundra @plants One should probably be very careful not to ingest any parts of the #comfrey plant, as it contains #hepatotoxic pyrrolizidine alkaloids, and only use it topically:
