I absolutely love comfrey for how easy it is to grow, how quickly they recover from transplanting & how it has multiple gardening/soil remediation & natural first aid uses. It's an amazing wild plant that I love cultivating in gardens. -

@SrRochardBunson here's some of mine starting to come up for this spring & summer, within another 2-3 weeks I'll start to see stalks for it's tiny purple flowers. I absolutely love it for how many happy big bumblebees I get with it and my chickens enjoy munching on the leaves I bring them from it too. But do understand if you've very sensitive/delicate skin, as I do, that it does feel a little prickly to the touch, so either enduring a little shortterm pain or wearing gloves will be needed for trimming it back.
Also note that while the bees do indeed love said flowers, they're not very fragrant nor #asthma attack triggering, so if you want an asthmatic friendly #pollinator plant, this is definitely one for that list.

So I'm reconstructing the deal here from a brief skim of the #Comfrey hashtag - do I understand correctly that the advantages of this plant are that it grows with weed-like hardiness, and when you compost it, it produces very good fertilizer?
First I've registered the word in my life, I thought it was another "Kratky" word for some sort of strange hydroponics or something.

Today saw the start of my #comfrey "liquefier" project.
Most of the parts were lying around somewhere except 2 brackets for mounting the device on the wall and the caps.
A PVC pipe DN110 with caps fits exactly into a DN125.
So the DN110 pressing cylinder will compress the comfrey in the DN125 pipe and eventually liquid will drop out.
Now the glue has to set before the device is mounted to the wall of the shed and filled with comfrey.
The #fertilizer is only for my pot plants.
