FRENS... this was *fucking* divine
Used a 1C flour recipe for the baguette. Croutons were made from the french loaf I baked on the weekend.
Filling is a mediterranean chicken salad (recipe from insta).
Literally transcendent.

Delivered food to my friend tonight!
I hope they and their partner enjoy :D Lasagna and salad for tonight and then some things for the freezer.
I really feel so happy and my heart is so full.

For me this is the heart of the Hearth. The foundational principle that I operate from as a hearth witch.
Absolutely centered on community care.
When the world feels massive and scary and change seems impossibly overwhelming... I look in.
I'm gonna do what I can for the big picture. I always have, and always will.
But my focus is my hearth, my home, and the sanctuary it provides. The only thing that has changed is I'm gonna be doing it EVEN MORE.

Fill vessel with water
Take vessel outside
Dump water on the ground
Look up at sky, point to puddle

Anyone else familiar with the hearthcraft tradition of not bringing the old broom into the new house?
Getting myself a new broom and mop for the new place (they need replacing anyways). But I'm pondering on the treatment of the Roomba and Brava Jet.
My thinking is to replace the brushes and pads (needs doing anyways). So the machine is the same but the broom-esque part is new.

I stg having a clean desk is actually magic.
I think one of my favorite types of hearthcraft is just that "nesting magic". Where doing a little tidying and dusting, cleaning our space and making it cozy... it really is magical.
