I've been without #power since before 6:00 AM on Monday due to #Beryl.

What works here:

- Stay hydrated. Don't worry about keeping track unless you really struggle.

- Don't move more than you have to. And, when you have to, do as much as you can as efficiently as possible. Then, rest.

- If you can find a rechargeable fan or a fan that runs off USB, get one and use it.

- Get the highest mAh #USB power bank you can afford from a reputable company, and charge it when you can. I like #Anker.

- Most #CoolingCenters are also charging centers.

- Those 4°C gel "collars" are amazing if you have a way to chill them. Get at least three. They chill at refrigerator temp, so they will work in your cooler with ice. You should be able to rotate them. If you have generator, they chill faster in the deep freeze, and two should be sufficient.

- Wear a non-slip headband. Mine are from Treadbands, but any that will keep the sweat off your face. As dermatologists and influencers like to remind us, your face is more sensitive than the rest of your skin, and sweat is basically bio-brine.
