Just saw 'Peter Wendy' at Mill Theatre.
Lexi has outdone herself. A version closer to the dark, original fable rather than the Disney version. A set to die for. Very creative and well done. Recommend.

Whoop! It's officially Winter time in the UK... Sunset at 4:54PM today.
Bring on the log fires, candlelit evenings, home-made stews and soups, weekends making Christmas cake and duck confit, roast chestnuts, baggy jumpers and extra fluffy socks!

So I got into my very first, old school, Twitter style argument here in the safe zone Fediverse! Subsequently, I blocked my very first fediverse person because of said argument. It took a year to get there. More than I can say for non-fedi platforms.
Look, I'm a chill dude. Arguments build walls, discussions fill tables. Responding with civility > reacting with indignation.

Made another batch of Rosemary salt this afternoon, plus some experimental Garlic salt, so the kitchen smells fabulous!
Meanwhile, the Christmas tree went up this afternoon, so the other half of the house smells like pine forrests!

I hate the holidays. It's when my parents broke up. One parent sneaks off rather than take blame or have a confrontation.
Cowards. Be better than the people that born you. They all got to own property. We get to be less shitty. Or at least try.

But ask yourself - is the broader knowledge environment "better" today than 10 years ago or worse?
If your metric of success is simply "# of graduates" you miss the bigger social mandate and your own culpability in letting it degreade. This times a hundred across so many sectors and spaces.
But I get it. Between boiling frogs and diffusion of responsibility, it was always doomed. #HappyThoughts

Taking my mum into town for her eye injections, today. She has needles stuck in her actual eyeball so they can inject something that will slow her macular degeneration. Some of you may prefer this to your actual day.
