Something that is stirring up smoke right now in Sweden is the documentary "The Hacker" - a vigilante hacker does the job for the police and hacks a scammer network that targets elderly people, they also move around from country to country, uses mules and launders money by buying luxury items in Dubai.

The theory of "poisonous fruit" does not apply in Sweden (we have "fri bevisprövning" = free evidence testing), so the material that the hacker turns over to the TV show and later on the police, can be used as evidence. They don't go into it, but for there to be a crime, the criminals have to file a police report so for now the hacker goes free. #svt #hackaren #uppdraggranskning
