Je voulais contribuer à #gentoo via #guru dans un premier temps, en m'aidant entre autres des bugs ouverts, je suivais des bugs qui m'intéressaient ou que j'avais remontés. mais grâce a l'IA tout ça n'est plus possible (pour l'instant je l'espère)

I feel that #Gentoo #GURU is getting much less interest since the change of rules.

Not sure if that's a bad thing, given how much of the interest we're getting are people who just made a slopware and now are aggressively pushing it to all the distributions they can find. Some just do an automated submission without bothering to follow the rules. Other claim that they have read and agree to the rules, even though the rules explicitly forbid doing that.

Then, there are all these people who asked for access but apparently never committed anything.

@mgorny I like #GURU, but I don’t trust it as a whole. Thus, I cherry-pick packages and have stuff introduced to my overlay via pull requests created by GitHub Actions and reviewed by me before merge via pram. I’ll switch to Codeberg once we have GURU mirrored there. I have all of my other repos anyway at Codeberg for a while, and GitHub disables GitHub Actions workflows after 60 days:

To prevent unnecessary workflow runs, scheduled workflows may be disabled automatically. When a public repository is forked, scheduled workflows are disabled by default. In a public repository, scheduled workflows are automatically disabled when no repository activity has occurred in 60 days.
