I am starting to finish the EA-250. 1st I’m planning on completing the pore filling job on the walnut headstock veneer. I have some really old but still good pore filler from LMII. Then get some Zinsser Bull’s Eye SealCoat wax free Shellac on there. Will likely “Ebon-ise” the veneer since Epiphone branded Matsumokus of this make have black headstocks. I’m not going for a perfect copy, just a respectful nod to the aesthetics of the original.

Spent a few hours today carefully scraping 60+ years of funk off the fretboard of the 1961 #Gibson SG #Guitar and applying oil for maybe the first time ever. I'll definitely have to go back and do another round of oil after I refinish the body but I wanted to get the gunk off the frets and some oil on the board itself.
