I baked a carrot cake! With fig jam! And orange buttercream frosting! And candied walnuts! And shared it with friends! It was fun! And tasty!
Recipe by Guissepi, bake off series 12 contestant. Him and Jurgen were a joy to watch, my favorite bakers/series!
Notable events: The sponge and walnuts came out perfectly, but I burned and had to re-do the jam, and the carrots didn't candy properly!! Also ran out of frosting!!
