#Brazil is ordering another batch of JAS-39 Gripen.This order would bring Br to the second largest fleet of Gripen, behind Sweden.

The #Gripen is largely untried, with zero air combat missions. Whatever is happening in Ukraine, intercepting missiles and drones brings two important points: the drones are not firing back, and no russian aircraft are engaging the Gripen, so far.

Brazil has about 8k km of coastline, and about 4k km of N-S, W-E span. The Gripen has ~800km of combat range.

Frage mich, wofür die USA überhaupt noch gut sind in der NATO, wenn sie eh ihre Truppen für ihre eigene Kriege und Konflikte brauchen. Die nukleare Teilhabe ist durch Trump so risikobehaftet, dass es sie eh nur auf dem Papier existiert. Also zunächst Gripen holen bis der 5,5 oder 6 Gen Fighter kommt. GlobalEye bekommen wir eh schon.
