  12. NYTimes piece about shipping industry's lackluster efforts at reigning in #GHGemissions focuses mostly on ships using "green methanol" which seems to mean "ethically sourced methanol" aka methanol made from plant sources that weren't going to be food. Makes passing mention of wind-powered shipping, then says ships need a more regular power source, then finishes by saying that methanol isn't a realistic fuel source for the whole industry because it just isn't produced in high enough amounts currently.

    Honestly, bizarre.

  16. the 2nd lie made up by OMCs to block #GreenFuel like #Biodiesel was that of availability. By fabricating stringent fuel standards (as per their mandate) & zero penalties for failure to adopt; they insured that supply remained an issue. And at who's cost? The #Farmers were to be the ultimate beneficiaries. The idea that an indigenously grown and cultivated fuel would keep currency in circulation as opposed to spend it on imports is founded on sound economic principals. At the end of the day.

  18. Alright - so it all begins with Shree Shree Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee - who in 2000 whenever gave the Oil Marketing Companies a #GreenFuel Mandate! The first lie told by the OMC's with regard to said mandate & exposed by the #COVID_19 crisis - Altering our fuel consumption habits will not help improve the #AQI - 6 weeks of #Lockdown and cities across the world were suffering from a plague of #CleanAir . . .
