@arratoon I would not have spotted that (not being a local). Checked my medal against Google Maps of both rivers, and it is definitely closer to the Wear than the Tyne. From the other side it's not so distinctive. #GreatNorthRun #GNR

No Club Running Club pop up open 10:00-18:00hrs today Saturday and Sunday (Great North Run) only.

Today Saturday, together with Deep North Fuelled By Doughnuts Run Club and Wild Wellness, there will be a 5k run around Ouseburn commencing from BottleWorks at 14:00hrs. Free doughnuts in the pop-up space afterwards while stocks last.

GNR medalists can claim a free drink after the run on Sunday while stocks last.
