Level of being lost and confused: I snoozed the alarm for "changing water at #Gelbi and #Graui" several times and was annoyed, that I only could snooze for one minute at a time. Suddenly a second alarm for the birds shows up. Oh right, the first one actually was the tea timer and not the one for the birds.🤦‍♂️

Yesterday, while walking my imaginary dog through a street in the neighborhood, an elderly woman with an actual dog asked me, if I live in the house that sometimes has blue/green light inside. She wanted to know, if we had snakes or lizards, because they usually need such light. I had to decline, managed to tell her about #Gelbi and #Graui of course.

#Gelbi seems to recover well from his injury. Yesterday he was picking up some crumbs from my plate, when I left him out of sight for a minute. He instantly went into #Graui's bathtub and started splashing. The vet said he's not allowed to bathe until today. Let's hope yesterday evening counts. You can't blame him for wanting to get the remaining blood from the feathers.

It's fascinating how one is able to distinguish by the time he takes to calm down, if #Graui saw a cat or a fox outside. The fox seems to upset him a lot more.

After #Graui throwing up and shaking the whole morning, we managed to get a doctor's appointment and went there - all of us, including #Gelbi. Graui has a bacterial crop infection and will receive antibiotics in his water for the next days. Afterwards there even was still time for me to visit #grandma, who suddenly didn't have a free space in that far away nursing home anymore today. Now she's on the waiting list for a closer one. #BirdsOfMastodon #MonkParakeet
