I've finally entered the fifth era of my smartphone ownership as my trusty Pixel 2 has this week been replaced with a Pixel 7a. The Pixel 2 gave stellar service over 5 years and still performs well. Unfortunately, I can now reliably one shot kill the phone by taking a photo with the battery below about 60%... The 7a is a bit bigger than I'd like but does feel a bit faster.
