Smartfon jest identyczny z modelami, które w zeszłym tygodniu przedwcześnie trafiły na platformę Amazon.

Co wiemy o nowej konstrukcji?

Szczegółowa analiza opublikowanego materiału pozwala wyciągnąć konkretne wnioski sprzętowe:

• Identyfikacja modelu: makieta przedstawia mniejszego Pixela 11 Pro, a nie gigantycznego Pro XL – kluczowym detalem zdradzającym ten fakt jest specyficzne umiejscowienie mikrofonu na obudowie.
• Nowy flagowy kolor: zaprezentowany wariant „Dune” to subtelny, piaskowo-złoty odcień, który ma być tegorocznym wyróżnikiem serii Pro.
• Reszta rodziny w ukryciu: wpadka na stronie operatora dotyczyła wyłącznie jednego modelu. Wersja podstawowa Pixel 11, największy Pixel 11 Pro XL oraz składany Pixel 11 Pro Fold nie pojawiły się w przedwczesnym komunikacie.

Nowe Pixele będą droższe. Europejskie ceny w górę

Niestety, dopracowany design i nowe wersje kolorystyczne to nie wszystko. Z nieoficjalnych raportów z rynków europejskich wynika, że Google planuje odczuwalny skok cenowy. Nowa generacja smartfonów ma być droższa o około 100 euro w stosunku do swoich bezpośrednich poprzedników.

Nie ma jeszcze pewności, czy identyczna podwyżka dotknie rynek amerykański, jednak tamtejszy operator Google Fi już przygotowuje promocje startowe (w tym upusty rzędu 100 dolarów za aktywację nowego planu lub tradycyjny program trade-in), co może sugerować, że producent próbuje zamortyzować wyższą cenę bazową. Oficjalna premiera całej serii Google Pixel 11 odbędzie się już w sierpniu.

That said, I'm a happy #GoogleFi customer; and I've had really bad luck using phones unblessed by Google on it; particularly receiving MMS messages. Anyone use #SailfishOS successfully with GFi?

Anyone else in #Portland having weird mobile Internet coverage? We are on #GoogleFi (because traditionally it has had the best coverage from multiple carriers) and it has only been connecting to LTE instead of 5G for the past day.

Look, I know, #Google is evil, but sometimes they do the right thing.
There was recently a #GoogleFi service outage affecting some customers for hours. Judging from the service credit on my bill today, it appears that they proactively identified every customer who was affected and gave each of them a $20 service credit to compensate them for the outage. For us that's nearly half of our per-person monthly charge.
That's a decent thing to do.

By February 2026, all Google Fi customers have to turn off message sync and switch to the version of Google's #MessagesForWeb that synchronizes with your phone in real-time.

So, I can't use #GoogleFi with #GrapheneOS without having to install the #GooglePlayStore.

Actually, I wonder now that I have the phone reactivated, could I wipe the phone again and still have the service activated.

If not, I at least know how to "fix" the problem, but I may need to switch carriers.

This also means I might be stuck on my 6a for a bit longer than I want to be.

Olen yrittänyt vähentää Googlen käyttöä hakukoneena, mutta kovasti vaikeaa kun vaihtoehtoiset eivät tunnu yksinkertaisesti toimivan.

En tiedä kuinka paljon tässä on kyse siitä että olen 20 vuoden aikana oppinut muotoilemaan hakusanat tavalla joka tuottaa Googlelta hyviä tuloksia (eli "works best on IE") ja kuinka paljon ettei haku vain toimi, mutta turhauttavaa kun tekee yksinkertaista hakua ja tulosta ei vain synny. Why does Fi default to notifying me about data usage? I have unlimited data; the whole point of which is not to have to care about my data usage.
This is the same vibes as those toxic companies with "unlimited PTO," that then give you the side-eye when you try to use your PTO.
