One day post #vaccines. I've been extra sleepy this afternoon, and achy in various joints. It feels almost like running a fever but without the increased temp. Both upper arms are sore, especially the left, which got two shots.
All of these symptoms are normal for me the day after a #flu or #covid shot. They're possibly exacerbated by the aftermath of the glorious #massage I got this morning.
Lots of #water, and I'm resting.

I'm declaring today "liberation from preventable illness day" for me.
Got three shots: The second booster against Shingles, the second booster against Polio, and the vaccine against Pneumococcal pneumonia.
Feeling great now, slight soreness around injection site. Probably will feel a bit cruddy later, which will fade by Monday. Won't get three preventable diseases.

I got my 7th #covid vax just before my trip to Montreal. My #Pfizer streak ended as the #ShoppersDrugMart I went to only had #moderna. I forgot to pop #Tylenol beforehand but did when I got home afterwards. I recommend taking your regular #painkiller of choice the day of, just before you get your #flu & covid booster shots, as it will help lessen the side effects. I felt soreness, fatigue & aches. #CovidIsNotOver #getvaxxed #flushot

I had heard anecdotally that perhaps the immune response for this round of booster was less.
It’s been about 12-ish hours and I’m feeling the aches set in. I’m not hopeful I’ll be spared but I’m grateful for an immune response. Writing this to remind myself to be grateful in another 12 hours when I feel like total shit.
