If I ever hear anyone from the German post office complaining no one writes letters anymore, I shall stick this where the sun doesn't shine.
I searched Wismar, a major German coastal tourist area, for over an hour. In the centre of Wismar, this is the only postbox. If tourists can not post postcards home, why should locals be expected to write? There are no postboxes to send letters anymore, because German post has removed too many of them.

Anfang Dezember hatte ich mich bei #postnews registriert und bis Weihnachten dort auch Beiträge geteilt. Gerade kam die Mail, dass es keine Warteliste mehr gibt. Wer es jetzt ausprobieren möchte: https://post.news/(Deutschsprachige Community dort unter #GermanPost)
Ich persönlich möchte nach den Erfahrungen mit Twitter möglichst keine Plattform mehr nutzen, die in Privatbesitz ist. Deshalb werde ich mich wohl von Post.News wieder verabschieden.
