Q2. What new skills have you learned recently? Was there one which you thought would be really hard, but surprised yourself when you found you could do it?

I'll go with slightly less recent (3-4 years ago): I learned I could make geodesic domes. It's multiple little skills instead of one big one, but it has been an absolute delight.

okay so I recently got some 395nm #UV #LEDstrips which I want to do something interesting with. It's 30m (10m each of 60/m, 120m and 240/m), and I'm bringing them to #emfcamp. Let me know if you want to spice up your #village or #geodesicdome :D

(they're 12V "analog" strips, meaning they have no built-in controller, so we'll need a PWM driver outside the strip to dim them)
