Mit dem gestrigen Update unterstützt mein #Personio #WordPress Plugin nun ebenfalls den PageBuilder Brizy. So habe ich 19 Brizy-Widgets für Stelleninformationen von Personio geschrieben - die gleichen wie sie schon für #Avada, Beaver Builder, #Bricks, Brizy, #Divi 4 & 5, #Elementor, #GeneratePress Premium, SiteOrigin und #WPBakery existieren.

Okay techies, particularly those familiar with #screenreaders. I've got my site up, which I've posted presently. I'm running a snippet right now that directs the author link you see for blog posts to my About page. The author link is currently disabled because when moving over it with #JAWS, it shows my name but also says "view all posts by Kira Aeva." Is there a way I can edit this link so that to screenreaders, it justs shows my name, since I'm directing people to my About page and not a post archive? @blog Schöne Sache, das. Ich hab noch nicht rausbekommen, wie ich das mit #GeneratePress mache. Aber vielleicht läuft mir da auch noch was über den Weg.

ha. the old .php #WordPress themes were so easy to configure.

How did anyone ever convince their production (ahem. "Make") team that Block themes were somehow... more accessible for creatives (or whatever was that pitch)? A better approach would have been to advise people to ditch wordpress and learn how to use a web manifest document. Who's to say?

Anyway. That's the good ol' #GeneratePress theme.

Did you know you can make accessible social media labels with #GeneratePress? I used a starter template for my website, and they had the icons near the bottom of the page. I looked at the button properties, and there was an option for ARIA Label. Make sure to set this everyone, as it will really help screen reader users figure out which item they are selecting.

#GeneratePress is great but like the off-canvas menu doesn't work with JS disabled so yeah
