2) His surrogates & staff say "What he meant was.. "
3) The media #sanewash the comment & leave out the crazy detail. LIKE THIS HEADLINE "Trump taps into culture war issues, seeks to energize base at Moms for Liberty event"When he doubles down on a crazy comment that's our cue to repeat it.
