Does anyone have experience with estrogen + progesterone for mtf hrt? My doc said it is available to me, and I am wondering what your experiences are. What effect did it have on your body and/or mind?
I know it causes breasts to develop more. I am quite happy with my breasts as is (although I wouldn't mind growth either), so I am not sure if just breast development and nothing more is worth it for me.

It felt good to ignore some religious transfobes on my way to the genderclinic. I can get gender related care regardless of their opinions.

In 1980, we didn't call it "gender affirming surgery" to overcome my deep shame and fear by giving me a testicular implant but that's sure as hell what it did for me. And affirming medical care shouldn't be limited to cisgender people like me. #gendercare #lgbt #transrights

Had my first #appointment with my #GenderCare #specialist yesterday and had an amazingly confirming visit. My #HRT all looks good and I have referrals for surgery and electrolysis.
Be of the really cool things is the surgeon they were looking up for referral is the same one I have been looking into since moving here.
I am really hoping that I can schedule surgery during a summer break so I won't have to take a semester off of #school.

I got a call from the Sutter Health #GenderCare facility in #SanFrancisco and I have a #consultation #appointment in #April, no fools!
Things are moving forward, finally.

Today, a bill was introduced in #Montana that adds to the growing pile of draft anti-trans #legislation that seeks to ban #GenderCare.
But it ALSO bars anything that "provides or promotes social #transition" in gov't buildings. A second clause prevents state employees from doing the same. It's very vaguely worded, but easily interpreted to mandate misgendering of #trans kids in schools, police stations, DCF offices, state hospitals, youth afterschool programs...

New bill prefiled for 2023-2024: #Tennessee House Bill 1, prefiled several days ago, is a blanket #GenderCare bill so vaguely worded that it would prohibit and criminalize any type of #gender care at all; potentially including use of #binders or safe tucking advice, as "..or device" is so open. Please note that I'M one of the luckier ones.
I was able to afford going part-private (GenderCare) to begin gender affirming care, including a private diagnosis for updating documents & for starting the clock ticking on getting a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC).
