    Downplaying a major con like the #Geller case by arguing there are bigger cons to worry about ignores that the lesser of two evils is still evil!

    It reminds me of the #Voltaire quote: "Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities." Geller's convincing #magic tricks are a good foot in the door for more problematic #belief systems, IMHO.
