Home after a day of poll watching. If the precinct I was at is any indication, Warnock will have a huge set of numbers out of Metro Atlanta when today’s ballots are counted. As an old hand at this, I’m feeling confident. #gavotes #Warnock #Democracy

Headline - Early Vote Projection

Walker - 838,799

My methodology: I went county by county and got the early votes breakdown from the General. I then applied those percentages to the early votes cast in the runoff.

In the general, 64% of the vote was early voting. If we are to hold that same percentage for the runoff, there would be around 1.3m votes left to be cast. I'll be glad to share my work, just reply your email addy.

I'm not going to drag out all the numbers I've been playing with, but I am currently estimating that (through yesterday) Warnock probably has about a 100k lead. This is based on the number of votes cast and the breakdown of early voting trends during the general election.

I'm going to take the final advanced numbers, which will be available Saturday morning, to see where we sit looking to election day (which heavily breaks for Repubs statewide).

My main job, voting in the GA Senate runoff, is complete. Yeah me.

Over 500k people have voted so far in this election. Almost 60% of those votes were in the Atlanta metro counties. Good news there.

At least 156,000 people voted over the weekend. This was mostly in metro areas, which is a big advantage for #Warnock.

It looks like about 70k people voted yesterday, which is a FANTASTIC turnout. There's Sunday voting today in most Atlanta Metro counties, along with Savannah, Columbus and Augusta.
