Toekomstmuziek: Primo’s, Thursday, September 10 at 07:30 PM GMT+2

Every Thursday at Primo's

Your weekly dose of live music, straight from the Amsterdam underground. Every Thursday we put local bands from in and around Amsterdam on our stage — raw, loud, up close and personal. Grab a drink, bring your friends, and let's make some noise.

This week on stage:

Garden Walk :

“Garden Walk is an international emo-shoegaze band with sad yet catchy songs shaped by themes such as war, immigration, mental health, and heartbreak. By combining emo songwriting with shoegaze textures, the band moves between vulnerability and sound, effortlessly switching between quiet, personal moments and heavier, more immersive soundscapes.”

Slijk Der Aarde

Ruona Neida:

"International three-piece screamo band. Smooth, open textures, exploratory guitar lines, changing rhythms, and a lot of space left to breathe. Harsh yet melodic structures are carried by vocals that stay sharp and direct without overwhelming the frame. FFO: Beau Navire, PBTT, Daitro"

Sunny paths wind through the Chester Roman Gardens, a tranquil space nestled beside the #CityWalls in the heart of Cheshire West and Chester. Visitors stroll among fragments of ancient columns and stonework, offering a glimpse into the city’s rich #Archaeology and Roman heritage. The manicured lawns, lined with tall cypress-like trees, create a peaceful #GardenWalk with a pleasant #ScenicView over the historic surroundings. Located near the River Dee, the gardens are a popular stop for those exploring the city’s #HistoricSite trail.

Garden Walk at Dorsetshire Hill

On my first afternoon back at our family home in Dorsetshire Hill, I wandered the garden barefoot, guided by memory, birdsong, and bright blossoms. Everything was smaller than I remembered—but alive in ways I had forgotten.
