Vi elsker perler i vores hjem og når ungerne er nørdede på den fede måde så kommer der meget sjov ud af det.

my newest addition: exeggutor 🎉
@tofuwabohu finally the one you've been waiting for 😁
-
my brother joined me recently and did a raichu :)
some parts, like its tail, were too thin and had to be reinforced with additional beads -
dratini is actually purple in pokemon emerald
-
hey it's seel!
(btw i need to search for most of these names, as i only know the german ones by heart)
-
kabuto was pretty small & straight forward 👌
-
i love the color palette of my farfetch'd fuse bead pattern 😍
-
my other brother got a dragonair for his birthday 😄
he would have certainly preferred a dragonite, but i couldn't find a color palette that i was satisfied with for that one. also, dragonite probably uses the biggest sprite of all original pokemon 🙈
dragonair looks pretty sweet, though -
did a slowpoke for myself right afterwards 😅
i'm not 100% happy with the shade of brown i chose for the border, slowbro looked way better. -
slowbro was the first pattern i didn't do for myself. it was a birthday present for my brother 🎂
i didn't really have the right colors for the shellder, but the ones i picked also look fine imho. -
poliwhirl is probably the most perfect one i did so far

ivysaur worked out pretty well!

after the last fiasco i wanted something smaller and easier to manage, so i went for omanyte.
it actually was quite easy to complete, but after i finished the melt i found out that i forgot to put in a single fuse bead in the upper right corner 😅 -
next i did gengar. this one was the biggest one i did all year and in hindsight it was probably a mistake to do that one as my second fuse bead pattern ever 🙈
the biggest problem was most likely that i still used a regular household iron back then, which didn't really distribute the heat evenly and therefore caused the beads to melt at different levels, which was especially bad given the size of the pattern.
anyhow, if you view it from afar it still looks totally fine and i love how the colors turned out. so i still put it on my wall 😊 -
last year i was looking for a relaxing hobby, got into fuse beads and started recreating pokemon from pokemon emerald. i never posted anything about it, though.
i want to make up for that now and will post the ones i did during the course of the year.
feel free to block the tags i'm using in case you're not interested in these posts.the first one i did was naturally magikarp

#PixelArt gets physical. Eight #Weebles characters made with #FuseBeads:
Tooey, Tibby, Bumpus, Pendleton, Demby, Diddy, Zuzie Q., and NoomieI learned the hard way that Walmart's Hello Hobby Melty Beads are thin and undersized, making them more fiddly to iron than #Perler brand.
