:ablobcatwhachy: Freud dio en el clavo con eso: no es que seamos masoquistas y nos guste tropezar con la misma piedra, es que nuestra cabeza es una cabezota.
El inconsciente se empeña en volver a esa situación que nos hizo daño, o a ese tipo de personas que no nos convienen, con la esperanza de que "esta vez sí" salga bien.
Es como intentar ganar una partida de cartas que ya perdiste, pensando que si cambias un movimiento el final será distinto.

Pero la realidad es que el final no cambia si el guion es el mismo.
Esa necesidad de "reparar" el pasado nos mantiene en un bucle agotador.
Al final, aceptar que esa historia ya terminó como tenía que terminar —aunque fuera mal— es lo único que nos permite dejar de repetir.
Es una putada, pero hasta que no dejas de intentar escribir un final feliz para un capítulo viejo, no tienes manos libres para escribir el siguiente.

#Freud was not only a genius, he was also kind and had a great sense of humour. He was a good father and brother. Re-reading what the Nazis (and those that sided with them) did to him and over 200.000 Jews in Vienna is unforgivable and yet part of humanity that he helped us decipher. #psychoanalysis

Visited #Freud today in his former home in #Vienna. Very instructive, moving and also sad. All of his belongings had either been left by him or were forgotten (such as his new glasses) when he had to flee the Nazis - or they were brought back from his exile in London after his death. #psychoanalysis

🔴A veces nos empeñamos en que saber las cosas es suficiente, y no.
Es como si tuvieras un mapa de una ciudad nueva
pero tus pies te llevaran siempre a la misma calle de tu barrio de toda la vida,
porque ahí es donde no te pierdes.

Lo que decía Freud es que nuestro cerebro es un poco "vago" y miedoso:
prefiere lo malo conocido que lo bueno por conocer,
simplemente porque lo conocido no le da sustos.
No es que seas masoquista,
es que tu sistema de seguridad interno cree que lo "familiar" es lo único seguro,
aunque te haga daño.

Cambiar no es solo aprender algo nuevo,
es convencer a tu cuerpo de que no va a pasar nada
por salir de esa zona.
Mientras tu identidad esté pegada a esos viejos hábitos,
por mucho que leas o entiendas,
te va a costar un mundo moverte.

La clave está ahí:
cuando te das cuenta de que repites un patrón por miedo y no por gusto,
empiezas a tener el control.
Y ese pequeño momento de conciencia
es donde nace la verdadera libertad.

Etwas länger:
#Antisemitismus ist eine irrationale, auf Verschwörungserzählungen basierende Irrmeinung.

Die Ablehnung der Psychoanalyse als Pseudowissenschaft hingegen ist wissenschaftstheoretisch begründet (u. a. Popper und Kuhn). Dass zudem vieles von dem, was #Freud so postuliert hat, auch einfach falsch ist, kommt dann noch dazu.
