  1. Fresh TUI has been my code editor / IDE for the past week and it's not too shabby.

    I wanted something that worked in the terminal - lite, efficient, and responsive. Perhaps even "minimalistic".

    Helix is a solid contender and I gave it a months-long try, but modal isn't for me.

    I did need to change several configuration options in Fresh, and a couple keybinds for my terminal emulator (Ghostty), but now Fresh is doing most of what I would have used VSCode for previously - without the cruft.

    It's FOSS and written in Rust.

    edit: No, I'm not particularly proud of my code, and the 126 warnings are an LSP misconfiguration error. 😅
