Walks with our dog Brodie are characterised by much snuffling and occasional runs to follow some scent. He likes to lead but stops at every junction to see which way we’ll go. I make a decision based on time and weather. He always is accepting. If I offer him the choice he will turn the way he’d like and I’m happy to follow that.

This walk by the sea is never the same two times running…. What is always the same is the joy of having a dog for company.
