    I have a #Foscam surveillance camera, with the "You need IE with this proprietary plugin"-web configuration tool (or their Desktop-app), which requires Elevation.

    It looks like #Dahua uses the exact same stuff - proprietary plugin for IE only.

    Are there any other IP cameras that don't require an app or a cloud connection, and can be configured entirely locally from a browser?
    RJ45 or WLAN, I don't really care.

    Also, I don't want to pay unreasonably much for monitoring a pet feeding station.

    Note to self: Don't ever again buy a #Foscam

    Talks home, requires APP, has no longer a Webinterface, no foss alternative to be found.

    Fuck this shit. Goes right back to seller.
