I’m also looking at Fluke 289, but I’m hesitant because:
1. Price
2. It’s around 15 years old (it has IR port!)
3. Eats batteries like mad
4. Takes time to turn on
5. No LCAP mode despite it has Lo-Z
6. No CD or cable included - it’s around 150$ extra to be able to connect it to the computer - which results in around 1000$
7. Those same cheap probes included. Why, Fluke?Otherwise the functionality and accuracy are really exciting.
