I don't understand why I think this is good, my brain likes it even though it's very simple and maybe childlike or naive. I think it partly has to do with the sky and maybe the full range of intensities and balance. The flower is big enough to balance the earth and the sky is big enough to balance the flower. The pink cliffs seem to indicate that the flower magic is worked into the substance of the world. The Sun is pumping its big heart into the hard earth. And maybe that flower would fit right on top of that prominence ✨

What I suspect is a flint core, picked up at work yesterday. There is a vein of redness running through the grey, coinciding in part with a band of tiny glittering crystals on the broken surface.
