Ran the Media City 5k race organised by RunThrough UK last night and completed the course in a very respectable 27.21 minutes. Ran the Media City 5k race organised by RunThrough UK last night and completed the course in a very respectable 27.21 minutes. Headed off to Warrington and joined the Parkrun club this morning 😬 did a few stretches and a bit of a warm up run then off we went! Was a bit congested at the start and had to weave my way through for the first half a mile or so before finding my rhythm, although the 4th km was a struggle with some uphill bits. I need to win that mental battle and push through and not slow down. Anyway 24:37 for the last parkrun of my 50’s isn’t too shabby 😊👊#parkrun #running #5krace #oldguysrule
